Frequently asked questions
Q: What is Revival U?
A: Students will dive into the culture of the house of prayer here in either New York City or New Jersey. Here, students will get equipped by some of our nation's most respected teachers, leaders and creatives, as well as mothers and fathers of the faith. Our school offers several intensive tracks from which our students can choose. In the past, tracks have included: Creative Arts, Leadership, Worship and Prayer, Supernatural Ministry and Dance Track. At the completion of our year-long school, our students will participate in a graduation ceremony and receive a certificate of completion from Revival U School of Ministry.
Q: What are the costs?
A: Revival U tuition costs $1200. This cost excludes books, meals, lodging, transportation. School-provided housing availability is very limited and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are tuition payment plans also available. Please email [email protected] for more information.
Q: What does tuition cover?
A: Tuition covers all classes and workshops. Students are required to purchase track-specific books and reading materials separately (syllabus will be sent upon acceptance to the school).
Q: What tracks are being offered this school year?
A: There are several tracks that you can choose from: School of Worship, School of the Prophetic, School of Supernatural Ministry, School of Prayer and School of Creativity. There is also a new course, called School of Revival, which is offered in Mandarin Chinese. This particular course will follow a hybrid structure of both in-person and online courses and activations.
Q: Where am I staying?
A: Space is very limited, but there is housing made available at a monthly fee for both New York City and New Jersey students - all through Revival U. Please contact [email protected] for more information and indicate that you are inquiring about housing.
Q: What should I bring/pack?
A: RU School of Ministry students will be staying in either New York City or New Jersey. They should pack clothing, bedding (twin-size sheets), toiletries and towels. Students should bring their physical Bible (ESV or NASB preferred), journal, stationery and laptop/electronic device. Students should also bring enough spending money to cover transportation and meals, as well as leisure activities on free days.
Q: Are there any rules/expecations?
A: Yes. Habitation abides by a Nazarite vow and lifestyle. As we look at Numbers 6:1-21, Scripture speaks of the consecration one makes before the Lord to be separate. We believe we have the honor of choosing a lifestyle of consecration and being set apart. We desire to host the pure glory of God without any mixture of the world (ex. clubs, alcohol, smoking, sexual sin, etc.) While we do not judge, we choose a lifestyle of full devotion to God being filled with Him alone. Revival U School of Ministry students are to model this community lifestyle while they are enrolled and encouraged to continue after graduation.
Q: What if I cannot attend the entire course but want to audit?
A: While we encourage students to get the most of the Revial U experience by registering for the entirety of the course, students may still audit certain classes. **Not all tracks are available for audit.** The cost to audit is $50/class. Only those students who complete the entire 10-week program may receive a certificate of completion at the conclusion of the program.
Q: What if I want to sponsor a student to attend Revival U?
A: Yes, of course! You are more than welcome to sponsor a student and cover their tuition, partially or fully. We would be so honored that you would consider blessing a student with such an opportunity! Please email [email protected] for more information on tuition sponsorship.
